TRILJ ON THE CETINA RIVER DALMATIA - CROATIA
Day 1 (Saturday) – Arrival
Afternoon arrival to Split and transfer to Trilj (about 40 minutes). Check into the three star Hotel Sveti Mihovil.. All comfortable rooms are outfitted with air-conditioner, satellite TV, mini bar, direct phone line and private bathroom.
Day 2 (Sunday) – Canoe- safari
After breakfast, late morning 15-minutes transfer to the village of Han where the canoe-safari starts. Each canoe (for 6 to 10 people) with a guide ride down the Cetina River for about 2 hrs and a half. The ride is on the peacefully flowing, crystal-clear Cetina River and its tributaries, which winds through the green Sinjsko polje (The field of Sinj). The ride accompanied with the birds singing makes this experience even special and is also a good practice for rafting. The ride ends by the Hotel.The rest of the day is free for strolling around Trilj and exploring on your own. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3 (Monday) – Mountain biking
The 20-kilometers track (medium difficulty degree) follows the river and green hills of Trilj region and touches three eco-villages where the tour stops for the rest at family farms. After breakfast, checking the bikes and consultation with the guide, start the tour at 11 a.m.
Leg 1: Hotel - Grab River Spring. This is a 4, 5 kilometers of light bike ride along the Cetina River. Stop over at the picturesque Grab village with 600-year old water mills classified as a historical monument for a refreshment of domestic doughnuts, cheese and drink at the local miller and naive sculptor Iko.
Leg 2: Grab River Spring - Bravici Village. The 1 hr and a half of light ride is followed by a half an hour of difficult one, which is used to hold a traditional international professional bicycle race. A short refreshment stop in Bravici village.
Leg 3: Bravici Village - Klarici Village - Hotel. This is a 2 hrs and a half of light ride through the green hills and vineyards with a 30 minutes refreshment stop at the eco-village Caporice. Besides tasting home made products (wine, bread, ham, cheese). The tour ends at the Hotel late afternoon or early evening (5-6 p.m.). Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4 (Tuesday) - Kayaking and Camping
After breakfast and checking the plan with the guide, transfer to the village of Cikotina Lada on the Cetina River where the kayak tour (1-3 persons per canoe) through one of the most beautiful and undiscovered canyons in Europe starts. The breathtaking beauty of the canyon, impressive rocky crags with Mediterranean vegetation and cliffs as high as 100 meters will make this 4 hrs ride en exciting and unforgettable feeling. (Those preferring bikes to kayaks might replace kayak tour with 1 hr and a half bike ride to the camp of Blato na Cetini.).
Day 5 (Wednesday) – Rafting / River riding
After breakfast clearing the camp and checking the plan with the guide. Transfer to the village of Penšici on the Cetina River, where the rafting tour starts. Each raft accommodates between 5-8 people. Rafting trough a canyon whose mighty cliffs nestle the rivers rapids as it flows to the sea. The experience will be unforgettable and you will certainly fall in love with this beautiful river. It ends with a refreshment after 3-4 hrs of pure adventure. The difficulty degree is 2-5. Rafting is followed by a short tour of the city of Omiš (where the Cetina River empties into the sea). Transfer back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 (Thursday) – Riding
After breakfast, at 11 a.m. transfer to the city of Sinj (10 kilometers). A city tour includes a tour of the Cetina-region museum, the Our Lady church and the town fortress. Transfer to the stable “Galop” is followed by 2-hour riding (those who do not ride might take a riding school lesson instead).
Return to the Hotel in the afternoon. There is a possibility of evening trip to the coastal cities of Split or Makarska. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 7 (Friday) – Canyoning
After breakfast at 10 a.m. transfer to the village of Zadvarje where an unforgettable experience in the 200-meter
deep Cetina canyon starts. Numerous waterfalls and lakes, subterranean tunnels and the unique Gubavica Falls (38 m) make this encounter with an untouched natural environment complete. 3-4 hours of trekking, descents, walking through tunnels and swimming will make this experience memorable.
The rest of the afternoon is free.
Gala dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 8 (Saturday) – Departure
After breakfast, departure transfer to Split Airport.
Program includes:
• 7 overnights at the hotel Sv. Mihovil in Trilj on half-board basis
• Experienced tour escorts/guides throughout
• Rental of sports facilities: canoes, rafts, kayaks, mountain bikes, riding horses, etc.
• All transfers as per itinerary; including arrival and departure transfers from and to split airport / pier
• Entrance fees to the City Museum in Sinj
• Insurance against injuries

· The Adventure week program is feasible for groups of minimum 4 people, maximum upon enquiry.
· Age limit for children to participate in the program is minimum 8 years
· 50 % discount for children under 14 years
