RENTAL CARS, LEASED CARS and other vehicles on Jadrolinija ferries from Italy.
If you have a rental vehicle on International ferry lines, it is obligatory to present original documents of the car. Other documents, such as certified copies, will not be taken into consideration and passengers will not be allowed to board the ferry.
There are no exceptions to this rule. You must have the original registration papers for any vehicle with you to be able to board that vehicle onto the ferry. You must speak to your car hire company prior to pick up of your vehicle and ask if they will allow you to take the original registration papers. For those passengers with Leased Vehicles, you should have your original registration papers with you in the vehicle and they must be presented before the vehicle will be allowed on the ferry.
If you do not have ORIGINAL REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS FOR YOUR VEHICLE you WILL NOT be allowed to take the vehicle onto the ferry. There are no exceptions.

2012 DUBROVNIK-BARI and BARI-DUBROVNIK (last updated 4/12/11): This route is SUSPENDED from 13th November 2011 until 26th March 2012. The ship "MV Dubrovnik" is being used on the Ancona-Zadar route instead due to problems with the "MV Zadar". We apologise for any inconvenience. Please see if you can arrange to travel on the Split-Ancona route instead.
2012 (last updated 04/12/11) - Timetables and prices for International routes during the summer season are now available for Booking. Please download the timetables above and send us an email with your preferred cabin or seat type, your full names, your passport details and your contact details. Venezia Lines operates services from Venice, Italy to the northern regions of Croatia and from Bari, Italy to Durres, Albania. Sailings available from April to October 2012. Email us for prices and sailing schedules at Reservations@DiscoverCroatia.com.au. Day trips to Venice are available from Croatian ports. You get to spend 5-6hrs in Venice and return in the evening. An excellent way to see a beautiful city. Day trip ticket passengers may only carry hand luggage, standard tickets must be purchased if you wish to take more luggage.
